Now, that’s a topic that can be very short, or VERY long….. Where do wig makers get their human hair from? What is the difference between types for hair? Does all the hair on a wig come from the same place? Easiest way to sum it up is, if you don’t actually watch the person cut the hair off the donor, in front of you, handing it directly to you, you will never truly know where it came from!!!!! When wig maker/brands say it’s “Brazilian”, “Mongolian”, “Euro”, “European”, “European Textured”, “Cambodian”, “Indian”, “Chinese”, “Vietnamese”, “Slavic” …. That is NOT where it is actually from!!! That is a way they describe the texture and grade of hair! It’s usually a mix and you pray you get a good one with all the cuticles lined up right! This is why it’s VERY important to research the brand you are buying from, BEFORE dropping $1000’s of Dollars/EURO/CAN… on a wig that might not last or be a rats nest after the 1st wash!
